Q39: How to change my status once I entered U.S. ? What forms do I need to file?
A39: Once you entered U.S. and got married within 90 days, you can start adjust your status(AOS) as marriage immigrator. You have to file in I-486. If you need to leave the country before your two year green card arrives, you need to file in I-131(AP). Also, if you want to work before your green cards arrives, you need to file in I-765 (EAD)
